The Grand Ballroom at The MAC offers a spacious and personalized setting for creating an atmosphere that is a reflection of your style and theme. With 5,000 square feet of functional space, the Grand Ballroom can accommodate events as large as 250 guests. Rooms are available for rent on Saturdays and Sundays and after 4:30 p.m. on Fridays.

Rates
Hourly Rental Rate: $300/Hour
Room Deposit: $300
Set-up rate: $40.00/Hour - Friday, noon to 4 p.m. **Based on availability**
Alcohol Permit
Approved City of Westminster alcohol permit allows up to 4 hours of serving time with security provided by off-duty Westminster officers.
Events with alcohol require off-duty police officers.
Events under 250 people (1 Officer) is $75/hour.
Events over 250 people (2 Officers) is $150/hour.
Cash bars are not permitted.
Alcohol is not allowed at events honoring guests under the age of 21.
Renting Guidelines
Room fees are per hour or half hour. The room can be rented for any amount of time needed. The room can also be rented late into the evening with the after-hours rate being in effect during the times shown above.
The room needs to be entirely vacated by the contracted ending time. This includes all guests, caterers, and DJs. If the room is not vacated on time, late charges are applied and deducted from the damage deposit at the appropriate hourly rate.

“I was skeptical at first about having a wedding reception at an active adult community center. However, I could not be happier with our decision. Having our reception at the MAC was one of the best decisions we made for that day. The staff was amazing and the process was very simple. The cost fit perfectly into our tight budget. We loved that we could make that room what we wanted from scratch and bring in our own food and alcohol. Another amazing thing was that they allowed us to set everything up the day before our reservation. Our reception was on Saturday and we were able to go in on Friday afternoon and set all the decorations. It REALLY cut down on day-of stresses. We met with the staff a month ahead of the wedding and drew up a floor plan and when we arrived, the tables and chairs were set up according to the plan. The only difficulty we encountered was that hanging lights from the ceiling was a bit challenging. Our caterer completely geeked out over their large kitchen. On the day, everything with the venue went so smoothly. I highly recommend the MAC as an event venue!! I was super pleased with everything! Thank you!”
